Admission into Opening Ceremony will be free to athletes and spectators
The Games Fee and Super Pass will get athletes into the USA Masters Games reception.

Reception

USA Masters Games athletes are invited to a pre-Opening Ceremony reception. The USA Masters Games fee gets athletes into this pre-Opening Ceremony reception to network with their fellow USA Masters Games athletes and enjoy some appetizers and drinks. Non-athletes can attend the reception by purchasing a Super Pass.

OPENING CEREMONY RAFFLE AND 50/50

Athletes that check-in will receive one raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets will be available for sale onsite. Prizes will be raffled off during the Opening Ceremony (winners must be present to win).

Human Cannonball

David “The Bullet” Smith is set to launch at Opening Ceremony. “The Bullet” has performed over 8,000 shows around the globe. He holds the Guinness World Records for highest cannonball shot and farthest cannonball shot and has broken these records six times. His most recent record breaking shot came in 2019 at a show in Saudi Arabia where he launched 89 feet in the air to set the highest human cannonball shot. You won’t want to miss his launch!

LENNY HOOPS

Former NYC comedian, Lenny Hoops, will be on hand to emcee David “The Bullet” Smith’s launch across Championship Field. Lenny has performed as a comedian at The Apollo, been featured on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam, and has traveled with the circus emceeing for the Human Cannonball show. He currently lives in Santa Monica, CA where he does acrylic paint art.

Athlete Parade

USA Masters Games Athlete will lead the way into Opening Ceremony behind the USA Masters Game banner! Parade lineup starts at 7:15 pm.

Torch Relay and Lighting of the Cauldron

The Opening Ceremony will conclude as the torch makes its way through the ballpark to the final person, who will light the cauldron officially kicking off the 2021 USA Masters Games.

Parking
$5 per vehicle at the Meijer Sports Complex. Parking is expected to go fast.

Overflow parking will be available across the street at City Church Rockford. A shuttle will bring atheltes and spectators to and from the Meijer Sports Complex.
