Registration is open for 2020 USA Masters Games in Grand Rapids June 19-28, 2020
Athletes 21 and older who want to compete on a national stage without leaving Michigan can now register to participate in the 2020 USA Masters Games (USAMG) coming to Grand Rapids June 19-28, 2020. The initial 10 sports that athletes can register for include basketball, golf, 5K, skeet, small bore rifle, swimming, Taekwondo, track & field, water skiing and synchronized swimming. The other 14 sports will open up for registration over the coming weeks and can be monitored on the website.

Greensboro, NC (August 1, 2016): The 2016 USA Masters Games came to the end of its 11-day run yesterday, wrapping up with the completion of nine sports and crowd-pleasing Closing Ceremony.
In Swimming competition earlier in the week, athletes set 11 new World Records and 14 new American Records. Meanwhile, as Track & Field came to a close yesterday at NC A&T State University’s Irwin Belk Track, Henry Ellard, formerly of the NFL Los Angeles Rams broke the American Record twice in the Triple Jump. Over at Table Tennis in the Special Events Center of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, Jishan Liang, one of the country’s Top 5-ranked players had competitors and spectators alike in awe in the Open Division.
USA Masters Games Enters Final Weekend with Competition in 11 Sports
Greensboro, NC (July 29, 2016): The 2016 USA Masters Games is finishing with a bang over the final weekend of events with competition in 11 sports.
Competition continues today in Track & Field at Irwin Belk Track at NC A&T State University. Track & Field athletes from as far as India are competing in a variety of events including the weight throw, 100 meter dash, and 500 meter racewalk. The field includes Olympians Willie Banks and Zola Budd Pieterse, among others. Also continuing today is Tennis at Spencer Love Tennis Center where the 50+ athletes take the courts.
USA Masters Games Only 50 Days Away!
GREENSBORO, NC (MAY 31, 2016) – Today marks a historic milestone: only 50 days to go to the start of the USA Masters Games! The big event is drawing closer, and the excitement and anticipation are building. Importantly there is only a little over one month to the June 30 deadline for registering for the Games. All adult athletes ages 21 and over are strongly encouraged to register for individual sports, and to gather their teammates and get in the Games team sports. To register for the Games, athletes can go to the Games website at usamastersgames.com. The Games registration fee is only $60 and entitles the registrant to enter as many as three different sports with no additional Games fee.
2016 USA Masters Games to Add Three More Sports to Games Lineup
Greensboro, NC: The USA Masters Games announced today that three more sports will be added to the existing 21-sport lineup, resulting in a 24-sport total for the 2016 Games. The three sports being added are Badminton, Cycling, and Table Tennis.
