Q: What are the USA Masters Games?
A: The Games are a National Sports Festival for competitive adult athletes aged 21 and over
Q: How many sports can I enter?
A: You can participate in as many sports as you wish. The Games Fee covers the cost of participation in up to three sports. If you are participating in four or more sports, there is an additional fee.
Q: How will I keep up with the latest USA Masters Games news and updates?
A: On the home page of the Games website, there is a location to sign-up to receive Games e-newsletters and updates. The USA Masters Games distributes a monthly newsletter at the end of each calendar month, providing news on progress towards the Games.
Q: When will registration close?
A: Registration will close on two dates: 1) at midnight, Monday, June 5, 2017 for sports taking place from June 22-25; and 2) on at midnight on June 26, 2017 for sports taking place from July 12-16. There will be no on-site registration during the Games.
Q: Can I see who else has registered for my particular event?
A: A list of participants in a number of the sports will be released in the third week of June.
Q: What if I can’t find a partner/player/team for the sport I want to compete in?
A: We have created a Free Agent page for those who are looking for partners, players, and teams. To put your information on the page, please email email@example.com. In the email, please include your sport, your age group, your name, your position, your email address, and your phone number. You can take a look at the Free Agent page here.
Q: Can I volunteer at the USA Masters Games?
A: Yes! We have a variety of roles open to volunteers. USAMG volunteers will receive a free t-shirt, parking, and refreshments. Please visit this page for more information on volunteering and signing up.
Q: Do I have to be in San Diego for the entire length of the Games?
A: You are more than welcome to stay in San Diego for as long as you want, though you are only obligated to participate in the events you are registered for.
